Shovels and Rope – “The Keeper”

In anticipation of our review of Shovels and Rope’s new album, “O’ Be Joyful”, this is “The Keeper”. This album shows their classic sounding folk sound, one that’s both minimalist and a little more electric than we typically hear. It shows the incredible instrumental work of both artists and the phenomenal vocals of Cary Ann Hearst.
