pragya – “one blink”
-Take an acoustic guitar line that feels calm and comfortable, then add a vocal that has a similar calming sense to it… that’s pretty much the summary of this sound. The artist, pragya, reminds me of what I’ve always loved about folk pop music; it captures a soft sentimentality that eases into my soul. The line “give me the days I’ve lost” connects deeply here. The delicate balance between the guitar, piano, and vocal really make for a timeless sound. The line about being “next to the girl I once was” is certainly a concept that we can all experience as we age; you are no longer who you were, but you can vaguely recognize the sentiment. It’s a great “coming of age” song with a delicate, affectionate style.
