Isaac Sign – “What a Ghost”
-There’s a bright, energetic folk pop sound here that captured my attention on first listen. Something about the production really makes the vocal resonate well and the guitars create a sense of depth. The percussive style on the chorus just makes you want to stand in a crowd with your friends and sing your heart out. Lyrically, it’s about realizing that you’ve withdrawn and lost a bit of who you really are. It’s about trying to find a way to get back to who you really are instead of being a ghost form of your former self. It’s deep and existential, all wrapped in this sing-a-long “we’re all in this together” musical sentiment.
