Hera – “Uncomfortable”
-This song is about relationships. It’s a song about someone who broke up with you but then is the one that ends up making it weird because they regret it. Hera writes with some absolutely savage self confidence that makes the whole dynamic fascinating. That said, I bet a lot of people listening will be able to relate as one or both parties in this exchange. I like the jazzy instrumentation and the quality production, which make it so that the listener dives fully into the lyrical message without being distracted by other elements. It’s cute and (let’s be honest) a little petty… but it works. I appreciate the exceptional quality of the vocal and the overall message, which is both relatable and worth sharing.
