The Bruins – “Wait”
-This track is for fans of neosoul music… and, if I’m honest, it’s got just the right amount of sass that it’s sure to appeal to a wide audience. “In the vein of getting sober, but I’m not there yet.” It’s an honest, vulnerable reflection on how challenging it can be to make changes. I mostly appreciate the snappy soulful energy that defines the track from start to finish. Some of the atmospheric elements may not fit traditional soul, but they fit perfectly for neosoul. It’s a cool sound.
