GOLDEN – “River City Runaway”
-Fans of pop punk will find a lot to like in the new track from GOLDEN titled “River City Runaway.” The power chords set the stage and the soaring vocal does a great job of delivering each line. The “save me from myself” lyric perfectly punctuates the meaning of the song. It’s a call to a relationship with a hint of a breakup sentiment. Fans of pop punk in the Good Charlotte realm will definitely enjoy the energy of this track. The production is excellent, capturing the early 2000s style of pop punk music well. I’ll be including this one on my pop rock playlist for a long time coming.
