Portico Blue – “I don’t wanna know”
-Everything about this track feels smooth and just right. The groove moves along without being too rushed. The energy of the track is lively without being over the top. The vocal does a great job of expressing the lyrics of heartache and the feeling of “losing” someone. As you fade away over time, it’s even more difficult to feel how much you don’t want to engage with them emotionally… even though you really do want to know. It’s an emotional track with a lo-fi vibe that has major commercial crossover appeal.
