3 Unclassifiable Tracks Unlike Anything Else

DYGL – “Half of Me”

This gives us all sorts of feels. The styles of rock are well blended while still being freshly original. It definitely has a ’90’s vibe, with damn singable lyrics reminiscent of Blink 182. This might be a strange comparison, yet the earnest DYGL have a rare talent for melody and emotive sound. The Tokyo act are one of the more surprising acts we have heard in the rock space and cannot wait to hear more from a truly must hear and original act.

Julian Lamadrid – “One More Trip”

This one is hard to fully explain. Dramatic is a good start with how the video crafts a surreal space. The sound is deeply emotional if not also sentimental. The electronic vibe is existential while exploring a cool space sonically. It makes sense that the Mexican based artist has a background in TV and cinema. There is something expressive and dynamic about his approach to music and we are here for every bit of it.

Mother Sun – “Marbles”

We get a lot of Psych Pop sent to us but none of it is as endearing as this. Mother Sun hit every right sun drenched note on “Marbles”. The track is beautifully laid back while still progressing into a bouncy land of trumpets that we cannot get enough of. The video is quite stunning and fun as well. While you may hear songs that share a space, nothing is quite as lovely as “Marbles”.
