Three talented emerging artists

Greater Bird of Paradise – “The Hourglass”
-This is a delightful little piece of music with an engaging folk soul. The vocals blend nicely on this one. The electric guitar gives it a bit of a different direction, but it works. If you’re a fan of The Tallest Man on Earth, I think you’ll enjoy what this project is about. It’s soothing and pulls the listener in easily.

Primes – “Moment”
-If you’re a fan of up tempo indie rock music, you’ll enjoy Primes. I mostly wanted to feature this song because of the high level of production. It’s actually hard to believe it wasn’t a Panic at the Disco song from a few years back. There’s an intensity here that stands out from the crowd in current indie rock trends. I dig the emotion here.

Matthew James Hemmer – “Interlude (v Raincheck)”
-I decided to feature this song because it’s clever and genuine. It’s really hard to make an acoustic tune like this work out well. It’ll make you laugh, will make you say “aww,” and really root for this guy. His use of self deprecating humor really lets down the boundaries of “pretentious artist” that happens far too often. Hemmer is approachable with some real talent. He’s one to watch.
