Soulful Macy Todd and Otherworldly Sirma Provide Must Hear Tracks

Macy Todd – “Give It Up”

This track is blazingly good. Todd has an incredible amount of soulful swagger backed by an incredible band that crackles with confidence and talent. “Give It Up” showcases the artist’s vocal gusto that reminds us of the likes of ZZ Ward and dare we say Amy Winehouse. Working with producer and friend Dan Hannon (Manchester Orchestra, A Rocket To The Moon), she is able to craft a gut punching and hip-shaking track of epic soul proportions. Macy Todd is the real deal. Sirma – “Eclipse”

With the upcoming solar eclipse, we thought this track was the perfect soundtrack. The young artist has an otherworldly sound that will connect with more than a few listeners. Studying jazz and classical music as a child in Turkey, she moved to the United States to study at the prestigious Berklee and now finds herself in New York further crafting her electro pop sound. Her Brooklyn apartment doubles as a music lab where she has put together her upcoming To Love EP.
