Sunday Night Super Singles!
These single hits are here to put you in a better mood as you look forward to another week of work or school. If you enjoy one of the songs, take a few moments to share it with friends and family. Maybe you can make their weeks better, too!
Jesse Ruben – “First Day of Summer”
-I know this is cruel to share on some folks last day of summer, but the song is terribly addictive and tons of fun. If you’re a fan of Michael Franti or Jack Johnson, you’ll enjoy the vibe of this summery, sunshine-filled track. It’s about love, so what’s not to like?
Sykes – “Younger Mind”
-This is the poppiest pop rock jam you’ll ever hear us post. It almost oozes top forty gold. That said, the song gets me moving. It reminds me of the way I felt when I first heard Gwen Stefani back in the day. Sykes has the ability to create a moving melody woven together with gripping lyrics. It might be pop, but it’s still there to slap you back to life.
Native People – “Call Me”
-Another pop rock jam, Native People’s “Call Me” has a kind of swagger to it that I have a hard time explaining. Maybe there’s a little Red Hot Chili Peppers in there, but what I can say for sure is that it gets your feet moving. The high electric guitar notes over the lower male vocals come together for a chill vibe that makes me want to chillax back to my younger self. It’s definitely the kind of track that gets me to pay attention and look forward to hearing more from the band.
