YouTube Gem: The Parker Brothers–Tearing Down the Ghost Town

This.  This is wholesome, but not grandma wholesome.  That’s not to say that your grandma won’t like it or that there is something wrong with the grandma brand of wholesome.  But grandma-wholesome tends to offer you oatmeal cookies with raisins because you need more fiber in your diet.  These boys are oatmeal cookies full of chocolate chips.  Wholesome, delicious, and exactly what you need right now.

Brother Parker is a band of actual brothers from Nashville who write and sing folky, sweet original songs.  They sing in three part harmony with simple instrumentals to back them up.  They sound gospel-y without sounding church-y.  It’s nice.  There is harmonica.  Enjoy.
