For this week’s installation of Free Music Friday, we’re really excited again to give you free music from an artist that we absolutely love. Matthew Mayfield, who just released his Irons in the Fire EP, is one the best singer-songwriters out there today and his music breaks the stereotypical singer-songwriter mold with more electric guitar and rock than one might expect. This week’s free music is A Banquet For Ghosts, his latest full length release and one that sees him tone down the volume and rock in favor of introspective lyrics and hauntingly emotional guitars. Remember, we always encourage you to tip the artists if you can afford it, but it’s a free album no matter what.
