Fred Mason on Alex Goot

Guest Review by Fred Mason

For Alex Goot’s Burger and Pizza Lifestyle

Alex Goot is an important pop artist for several years.  Despite his youthful style, he’s been “emerging” on the highly successful social media platforms like Last.fm and YouTube.  His high-quality collaborations on YouTube garner thousands of hits.  Let’s take a brief look into his work as an emerging pop artist.

Alex Goot comes from a long line of cover artists that have emerged in popular video site and media community, YouTube. Alex Goot has turned into a Living Addiction. He knows how to get into a trend and take it to an all new level and make it his own. With covers from artists like The Fray, Bon Jovi, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Carly Rae Jepsen, Lady Gaga, Ellie Goulding, and Cyndi Lauper, plus ten (and counting) original songs like Sensitivity, We Could Love You, Bright Lights and The Real You, saying that this New York-based musician is talented is by far an understatement. He plays almost any instrument, his voice even reaches to an alto-soprano level, and his music is a hodge-podge of many genres. What’s even magnetic about him is the way he renders songs of popular artists, making it sound like it was him who originally sang the piece.

As he relays his purpose for making music in his YouTube site, “Everything you see + hear on my page was produced and put together by me (and occasionally some friends). This means that if you buy something from my iTunes artist page or merch store, 100% of the money goes to my next cheeseburger or slice of pizza. Your support literally means everything to me.”

He has a new song with music video out titled Living Addiction, as well as a new lyric video for a new original song Secret Girl. Lyric videos are a new trend in YouTube. Either way, Goot is on it and he might just be better than others once again. Let’s not be too much of a fan. Do visit his social media sites and website to assess him more. And if you still don’t know, he’s been busy out on tours around the US and Europe.
