If you were fortunate enough to catch The Last Bison when they were still Bison, you’ll have heard most of the songs on their upcoming Universal Records debut. Most of the songs on that debut are off of their self produced debut “Quill” and that was a fantastic album. Calling themselves “mountain-top chamber” music, we had the chance to ask them about the new album at their show in Pittsburgh on Saturday. “We’ll be releasing an EP in October, near the end, and the new album will come out in January or February of next year,” said Ben Hardesty, frontman of the group whose sister and father also provide vocals. It’s a awesome family dynamic and one that we’re excited to talk more about as their music comes out. Until then, enjoy “Quill” and “Switzerland”.
