Sara Bareilles is really famous. She was in a commercial to introduce iTunes to the world, so there’s that. Her music fits with our style and she has a remarkable voice. She recently released a 5 song EP, which in itself isn’t that special, but the EXPLICIT sticker caught my eye. After listening, the EP is very much in the vein of what Bareilles has always done, including acapella songs, creative lyrics and her incredible voice. What really stuck out to me was her song “Sweet As Whole” (read Sweet Asshole). It’s a hilariously angry song that has clever lyrics and features a beautifully angry and vulgar song. What more could you ask for on Labor Day Weekend?
