Frank Hamilton: Honest and Creative Songwriting

Frank Hamilton – “More or Less (feat Dodie Clark)

This is the third single from his Songs To Make Life Slightly Less Awkward and perhaps his most relatable. It has dark tones but also carries an endearing optimism that we love to hear. It is a song that simultaneously looks back and forward. The artist is refreshingly open about his mental state when he wrote this: “More or Less is easily one of the most personal songs on the album and needless to say, I was in a pretty dark place when I wrote it. Curtains closed, microwave meals, living in a dressing down.
The song is about my relationships – with music, girls and myself – and at the time of writing I was convinced it would be the last track on the last album I ever made (which might not be true but let’s hope so). The song features Dodie on BVs – who came round for dinner and made it sound 10000 x better.”

He has a way of connecting with a large pool of listeners with his unique approach at making music. The songwriter recently finished a year of making a song a week and even recorded on the London Eye with a string quartet. We greatly appreciate his musical creativity and are pretty confident that you will too.
