Last year I found Australian electronica artist Chet Faker and my life has been richer ever since. It was one of those musical destiny moments where he happened to be playing a show in nearby Cleveland on the exact night I discovered him – the musical fates that be were generous to me. His popularity has been on the rise lately, stemming back to his soulful 2011 cover of “No Diggity”. Since then, he has been featured in various commercials and will be playing Coachella this April. His jazz infused seduction is haunting, beautiful, and incredibly soulful. One listen of “Talk is Cheap” off his debut LP “Built on Glass” will make you agree.
