Read that title again. What could possibly be better than a band called The Hundred Acre Woods singing a song called “Pennsylvania”? Well, the song itself is actually better than you could have guessed. It’s an autobiography of sorts, a song about what Pennsylvania meant to the narrator growing up. It resonates with me as a Pennsylvanian, since its the best state in the country, and should resonate with anyone who was ill as a child or moved at a young age as well. Any song that ends with the line “I do not know if God is real or alive, but oh well, I thank God I’m alive” is good by me.
