For those of you who really haven’t been paying attention to music, here’s a video of William Fitzsimmons singing one of his most honest and saddest songs, “Find Me to Forgive”. Fitzsimmons has distanced himself from every other musician making music today because of his ability to make his songs sound like confessions, to bare his soul, perfectly capture it, and to make you feel exactly what he was feeling. This may be the saddest song of his, but it’s beautiful.
“The last 16 months have been nothing but hell.
I thought about jumping, but that would be something.
In the short time that I learned how to fly,
Would you forgive me, or bring flowers to me, by the grave?”
